This year, the Greater Pittsburgh Afterschool Consortium
gathered as many as 1,000 kids from 10 after-school programs in Allegheny and Beaver counties to volunteer in the two areas, including the Schenley Heights Community Development Program and Mooncrest Children’s programs.
