In the first of a series profiling top teachers in the Pittsburgh region, Kidsburgh looks at inspiring educators who deserve to be recognized and celebrated while they’re actively engaged in teaching. The students of these five great local teachers – four from Pittsburgh schools, one from Mt. Lebanon – prove that students don’t need the wisdom of old age (you know: about 22 or so) to recognize the value of their experiences in these classrooms.

Spark has taken charge of the Kids+Creativity network, and a crowd of locals and agencies are excited at the possibilities: more partnering opportunities for those involved with kids, tech and learning; more chances for funding, sponsorships and research; and more ways to get the latest word out to each other – and to the nation.
